むさしの遊美（あそび）マップ "Youkobo Area Map"

この地図は、武蔵野３大湧泉池である、地元の善福寺池、吉祥寺にある井の頭池そして、石神井公園にある三宝寺池がある、武蔵野台地の一角で、遊工房を中心にした周囲4Km四方を表しています。遊工房は、東京23区・杉並の西端、善福寺に位置しています。
ここに海外から沢山のアーティストが滞在し制作して。昔は畑や林の中に存在していたこの建物は、今は住宅地の真っ只中にあり、生活にはとても便利なところです。アーティストの滞在制作活動のために、少し広い行動範囲が必要になります。制作材料や道具を探したり、また、時には気分転換もしたい・・・。 ここで何時も困ることが起きます。杉並、武蔵野、そして練馬のちょうど境に位置しているため、幾つもの地図を持ち歩くことになります。遊工房を中心にした生活お楽しみマップが欲しくなり、英語表記を基本にまとめ、「むさしの・遊美（あそび）マップ」となずけました。皆さんのお勧めや隠家的な場所など教えて下さい。

This map centres upon Youkobo Art Space, located in Zempukuji, in the west end of Suginami City, set within a corner of the Musashino Plateau with lakes and parks in the close vicinity, and encompasses the neighboring districts within a 4km area.
Once surrounded by fields and groves Youkobo now sits in the middle of a residential area convenient for daily life and it is here that artists from all over the world come to stay and make work. Yet as artists they require a wider field of movement, materials and tools for artistic production need to be found, and sometimes a change of scenery is needed.... And here, troubles invariably occur as Youkobo is located on the border of three cities, Suginani, Musashino and Nerima and so often several maps are necessary to navigate the area. Therefore Youkobo was determined to create an original map for its residents in order to provide them with a more enjoyable daily life where place names are also written in English, under the title of titled "Youkobo Area Map" - Musashino Art Recreation Map.
