The artificiality of nature is presented in much of Almut Rink’s practice. In exploring man-made experiences of the wild Rink presents how the notion of landscape reflects our national, social and political identities. Almut Rink, born 1971 in Germany, lives and works in Vienna. Her exhibitions include “Topophobia”, (Danielle Arnaud Gallery, London), “Foamywater“, (Austrian Cultural Center, London), and “Rebound“ (Yokohama Museum of Art).
