Almut Rink lives and works in Vienna. The artificiality of nature is presented in much of her practice. In exploring man made experiences of the wild Rink presents how the notion of landscape reflects our national, social and political identities. Her exhibitions include a.o.: “Topophobia”, Danielle Arnaud Gallery, London, Bluecoat, Liverpool; “Foamywater“, Austrian Cultural Center, London. “Rebound“, Yokohama Museum of Art; “Höhenluft”, Galerie Christine König, Wien; “Is this city a distant planet?”, Knoll Galerie, Budapest; “Contact Zone“, Galerija Miroslav Kraljevic, Zagreb.

Christof Schlegel is working in the fields of architecture, urbanism and art.
Since 1992, works and projects have been on questions of urban representation, urban image politics and on the construction of the city image by various media. Several projects were done in cooperation with Almut Rink and with the Office for Cognitive Urbanism (Schlegel, Andreas Spiegl, Christian Teckert). These projects mainly deal with the influence of media on urban perception and identity. Schlegel developed several projects during long-term stays/residencies in Los Angeles/USA, Tokyo/Japan and Nanjing/China.
