Visual artist born in Santiago, Chile (1977) where she actually lives. Her work explores the limits and meanings of painting, representation and it´s supports. Having worked with different topics and media, as drawing, painting, installation and photography, her actual production experiments with objects and painting; how both elements relate and determine each other.
She just opened a new exhibition space in Santiago, called Oficina Barroca Gallery which functions as a publicity office during the day and art gallery during nights and weekends.
For the residence in Youkobo, she will collect different objects, from different sources, and intervene them with paint to make an installation which will, somehow, show local characteristics through the investigation of Tokyo´s objects.
