HETEROKARYON
Kadota Mithumasa []2008.04.17 - 2008.04.27
In reality, what we are able to understand of this world is limited to very superficial phenomena. We can never, for example, hope to fully grasp the existence of the roots of a great oak tree lying deep beneath the ground that sustain the thick foliage above. In some primitive organisms such as fungi, the unique existence of cells with two nuclei, so called ‘heterokaryon,’ has apparently been discovered. In the enshrouding hustle and bustle of today, it is in our inability to reach this pure order of life that I Keenly sense the emptiness and fragility of this age.
