Neclectic [Switzerland]

Neclectic is the artists’ collaboration of Simone Meier and Roland Sutter, founded upon the idea of forming an art brand beyond gender and the individual. Their work has been presented in solo shows and group exhibitions in Switzerland, Germany and France.

This exhibition is a further development of a project first initiated in New York and, taking
the advertising slogan of NIKE “MAKE IT YOURS”, here appropriate advertising aesthetics
in order to raise questions towards the commercial messages we are fed with on a daily
basis.

As part of this exhibition Neclectic also joins forces with the Tokyo based music band aM™[aem], whom they have collaborated with on several occasions, to present a sound piece. (http://26666.org)

A specially devised event for the opening party will also lead visitors to the position of
participants in the process of “MAKE IT YOURS”.
