“Studio Jean + Youkobo Art Space” formed as a team in 2011 with a base in Hammer-head Studio, Yokohama and consists of Okayama based artist Kyougo Matsumoto, Sohei Kimura. Yuki Morishita, Mariko Hori and Youkobo Art Space. Taking the main concept of “connection”, connecting art and people, and “discovery”, uncovering new ways of seeing society and urban space, this group are actively engaging in a variety of creative expressions and in this exhibition give an overview of their engagements to date, the individual practices of their members and their potential future developments.
