Happy New Year 2025!

This year marks 50 years of Youkobo's art activities, and we will continue to do so at our own pace.
(The name Youkobo has been used since the 1990s, but the group began its artistic activities in 1975 as "Hiro Bijutsu no kai" as the Hiro Art Association in Zempukuji, Suginami-ku, Tokyo.)
In 2020, artistic activities came to a halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we began sorting out various assets that were traces of our activities up to that point. This began with the "Souvenirs of Youkobo Artists in Residence" at the end of 2021.

As a continuation of this activity, we will weave a picture scroll of our activities as "Youkobo Mandala," focusing on the residency program that supports artists' activities, while also listening to the stories of those who have helped us so far.
We would like to once again greet and report to all those involved, so we appreciate your cooperation.

We wish you all the best and we pray that 2025 will be the first year in which the world recovers spiritually and abundantly.
